Your next client is already asking AI who to hire. The only question is whose name it answers with. M. Curtis McCoy’s AEO services build the entity, the proof, and the direct-answer architecture that make the answer you.
Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) is the practice of making a business or person understandable, verifiable, and recommendable inside AI-powered answer engines — ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Gemini, Perplexity, and Claude. Where SEO earns you a ranking, AEO earns you the recommendation.
Professional AEO services give AI systems the three things they require: a clear entity (who you are), structured proof (why you are credible), and direct answers (what buyers ask, answered on pages you control). That is exactly what M. Curtis McCoy’s AEO services deliver.

New to the difference between ranking and being recommended? Start with AEO vs SEO.
One canonical identity across your website, profiles, media pages, and third-party mentions.
Definition blocks, FAQs, comparisons, and step-by-step content AI systems can quote.
Person, Organization, Service, FAQ, Review, and Article markup that matches what visitors see.
A verified graph linking your site, profiles, media features, and trusted directories.
Deep coverage of your subject — not shallow keyword repetition.
Citations, reviews, interviews, and features that let AI verify your claims.
Tracking how ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews describe and recommend you.
What buyers find when they check you out — consistent, verified, and working in your favor on every platform.
Every answer path ends in action: call, book, run a free analysis. Visibility only matters when it becomes revenue.
Buyers no longer read ten blue links. They ask one question and act on one answer. Right now, someone in your market is asking ChatGPT for the best company that does exactly what you do — and it is answering with total confidence. If it isn’t naming you, it is handing your next client to someone else.
Most websites give AI systems nothing to work with: no entity clarity, no schema, no verifiable proof, no direct answers. Google’s AI Overviews now answer millions of questions before a single website earns a click. The businesses winning those answers aren’t the biggest — they’re the ones whose identity, proof, and content are structured so machines can trust them.
That is a fixable problem. It is exactly what M. Curtis McCoy’s AEO services fix.
See how each engine picks its answer: how to rank on ChatGPT, how to rank in Google AI Overviews and how to get cited by Perplexity. Then grade your own site against the AEO checklist.
You already know your business is the best-kept secret in your market. That is the problem. When a buyer asks ChatGPT who to hire — or Google’s AI answers before they ever see a website — the name that comes back wins the deal. M. Curtis McCoy’s job is making sure that name is yours.
M. Curtis McCoy built his first website in 1995, three years before Google existed. He didn’t learn marketing inside an agency; he learned it in the field, with real revenue on the line. He built and ranked the website of a nationwide telecom brand that served more than 250,000 customers across all 50 states. His work spans telecom, e-commerce, publishing and professional services. He is Editor-in-Chief of News Wire Magazine. He hosts Success, Motivation & Inspiration — an interview series on Amazon Fire TV and Roku, heard in 187 countries.
That history matters for one reason: M. Curtis McCoy builds every client’s authority the same way he built his own — in public, where Google and AI systems can verify every claim. Pencil Log Pros publicly credits M. Curtis McCoy as their Developer & SEO — behind that credit sits a complete AEO architecture: service pages, location pages, long-form articles, and a lead-qualifying estimator supporting a 4.9-star Google reviews reputation.
Clients get one accountable expert — never an account manager reselling white-label work. Want the full done-for-you program? See the Personal Brand Manager service or start the conversation.
M. Curtis McCoy’s AEO services are built for you if: you run an established, owner-led business — log home construction, medical or hormone clinics, law firms, contracting and trades, real estate, or an expert-led brand — where one qualified client is worth serious money. You already do excellent work. Your online presence just doesn’t prove it yet.
This is not for you if: you want the cheapest website on the market, you expect overnight rankings, or you aren’t ready to put real proof in public. He only takes engagements he can win.
Where he works: M. Curtis McCoy is an AEO consultant based in Fruita, Colorado. He delivers AEO services to businesses in Grand Junction, Montrose and across Colorado’s Western Slope, and to clients nationwide. He doesn’t stop at advice. He builds the fixes himself.
And understand this: answer engines reward whoever moves first. Once AI systems learn to trust a competitor’s entity before yours, you’re not fighting for position — you’re fighting their incumbency. The best time to become the answer in your market was two years ago. The second-best time is before your competitor finds this page.
SEO earns rankings on results pages. AEO earns mentions and recommendations inside AI answers. They share foundations — clean structure, real authority, verifiable proof — but professional AEO services add entity clarity, answer-ready content, and machine-readable relationships.
GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) targets generative systems that synthesize long answers. AEO covers the full answer layer: featured snippets, voice search, AI Overviews, and chat assistants. In practice, one connected system serves both.
Entity corrections and schema can influence AI answers within weeks. Durable recommendations follow proof: reviews, coverage, and deep content. Expect compounding results across months — not overnight wins.
No one can guarantee an AI answer, and you should walk away from anyone who does. What can be engineered: clear identity, verifiable proof, direct answers, and monitoring — the exact inputs AI systems reward.
No. It compounds it. M. Curtis McCoy’s AEO services build the same architecture that wins rankings — and feed AI systems the structure they need to recommend you.
Hire the person who does the work. Many AEO consultants hand you a report and leave the fixes to you. M. Curtis McCoy audits how AI engines describe your business, then builds the entity, content and proof fixes himself. Start with the free Website Analyzer to see where you stand.
